Professional Associations
At Pinnacle Plus Resumes there is consistency in developing up-to-date employment knowledge, emerging trends, practices, education and training.
Pinnacle Plus Resumes currently holds membership standing with the following professional career/employment associations to accomplish this goal:
Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches
Founded in January of 1990, the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches has been created for career professionals to exchange information, enhance their skills, or demonstrate their commitment to providing professional services to the general public. Today, those who display the association's logo affirm their dedication to excellence in meeting client career goals.
The Association of Career Professionals International (ACP International)
A global, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the success of its members who provide lifelong career and talent-related services in more than 20 countries. Both ‘solopreneur’ (self-employed practitioner) and employee members help individuals manage their careers through the life cycle of their employment, as well as assist organizations in developing and implementing effective talent management practices. The Association is headquartered in Washington, DC.
The Canadian Career Information Association (CCIA)
A volunteer organization of members from across Canada who work in the field of career information. They come from many different settings, such as educational institutions (at the elementary, secondary and post-secondary levels), libraries, businesses, government and community organizations, students enrolled in career counselling/career information programs, as well as private practitioners in the field of career development. CCIA has taken a leadership role in advocating for the development of high quality Canadian career information and in helping to provide the basic requirements for producing these.
